Tis the New Year! I have resolved to post on this blog more...ha. What have you resolved to change/improve? Might I suggest a popular one with us- buy nothing new for a year. (within reason...ABC gum is gross). What a fun opportunity to step outside of the norm and try something new...er not new... while saving the planet from a few zillion more Malm dressers and fad fashions.

Eero Saarinen Tulip Table by Knoll Associates. Beautiful walnut wood top white base- perfect condition. Late 60s early 70s. Would look amazing with the sofa below! Available at Up Six Vintage.

From Succotash- amazing metal sculpture like 3+ feet tall! Also spotted Dansk and Catherine Holm enamel wear and the most comprehensive Tiki collection we have ever seen.

From Lula- fabulous holiday party dresses and hats! For men we spotted lots of wool paid shirts- a perfect way to get through the winter AND do not forget to visit the jewelry case!

While doing "the Loop" some pretty amazing mid-century treasures were spotted-

UP SIX VINTAGE- Beautiful set of 4 Eames DCM chairs by Herman Miller, pristine condition early set with foil labels.

SUCCOTASH- Rare 1950's Jens Risom sofa by Knoll International with bright orange upholstery.

Lula- has large collection of vintage wool buffalo plaid coats and jackets as well as an impressive collection of holiday party dresses
Succotash- has an amazing Eames Compact Sofa and a mint cherry red conical fireplace- perfect for the holidays
Up Six- has a classic Paul McCobb Planner Group set complete with dinette, desk with chair and a long bench- they also have a fun collection of costume jewelry
